Tanzanian Peaberry

Peaberries occur when the coffee "cherry" develops a single oval bean rather than the typical pair of flat-sided beans. These little oddball beans are separated out during the sorting process. Tanzanian Peaberries produce a lighter-bodied, slightly "brighter" coffee than the beans from which they are separated.

Grown at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, our Tanzanian Peaberry offers a clean, crisp taste with the subtle flavors of wine or fruit, perfect for that wonderful first cup of the day.
